The House of Representatives on Monday lauded the stunning performance of Carlos Yulo in the 50th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Kitakyushu, Japan.
Speaker Lord Allan Jay Velasco said Yulo once again hoisted the Philippine flag high.
Yulo won gold and silver medals in the men’s vault and parallel bars events, respectively.
House Deputy Speaker and Valenzuela Rep. Eric Martinez said Yulo’s victory “would be a confidence boost for 2024 Paris Olympics.”
“A bold prediction that Caloy will win multiple Olympic medals in Paris 2024!” Martinez said.
