The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases is discussing the possible removal of mandatory use of face shields as Covid-19 cases continue to decline in the country, according to Malacañang.
In his virtual presser Tuesday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said many IATF members support the lifting of the government’s face shield requirement in indoor areas.
The secretary said the task force’s technical working group is looking into the proposal.
