Bato dela Rosa feels safer armed with CZ pistol

Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, former chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), is an avid gun enthusiast.

Dela Rosa, a presidential aspirant in the 2022 elections, admitted feeling safer whenever he carries his firearm. His preferred weapon? A CZ pistol.

The former top cop posted a photo of himself holding his fave firearm at the gun company’s showroom.

“My survivability rate in case of a gunfight is much higher when I carry a CZ pistol,” he wrote on Facebook.

Dela Rosa is the last-minute pick as standard bearer of the PDP-Laban wing backed by President Duterte. After his stint as PNP chief and Bureau of Corrections head, he was elected senator in 2019 elections with over 18 million votes. He is a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Sinagtala” Class of 1986.
