Senator Leila De Lima took a potshot at President Rodrigo Duterte after the Chief Executive claimed a presidential aspirant was using cocaine.

De Lima tweeted Friday (November 19) that the alleged cocaine-using politiko should be the one put in jail instead of her.

De Lima, who’s detained for alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade, said Duterte’s blind item also puts his daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in a negative light.

In a November 18 speech at a meeting in Mindoro of task forces to end local communist armed conflict, Duterte accused a male presidential aspirant of using cocaine.

“I will not make it clear now. There’s even a presidential candidate na nag-cocaine,” he said.

Without mentioning anyone, Duterte questioned that presidential aspirant’s qualifications, calling him a “weak leader.”
