Duterte urges Pinoys to visit Bohol: ‘It’s really a very beautiful province’

President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday encouraged Filipinos to visit the “beautiful” province of Bohol.

Last week, Duterte flew to Tagbilaran City to lead the inauguration of seven seaport development projects in the province.

“Noong pumunta ako ng Bohol last Friday, napakagandang lugar ‘yan,” the Chief Executive said in his pre-recorded public address aired Wednesday.

“Sana naman there will be a time na medyo lahat ng Pilipino ay may kaunting kakayahan maglibot sa Pilipinas at pumunta ng Bohol. It’s really a very beautiful province. Malapit lang sa Cebu ‘yan. Magkadikit lang halos pero maganda,” he added.

Bohol, an island province in the Central Visayas region, is famous for its Chocolate Hills, white sand beaches and dive spots.
