Taduran out of ACT-CIS, 3 Tulfos seek House seats

Rep. Rowena NiƱa Taduran is no longer a nominee of Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) party-list for the 2022 elections.

Taduran, who is the current third nominee of ACT-CIS, intends to finish her first term until June 2022. She is a broadcaster being entering politics.

It was learned that television and radio broadcaster Erwin Tulfo is now a nominee of ACT-CIS. A source claimed that he is the third nominee but another source said he is only at fourth.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has yet to release the names of the nominees of party-list groups.

ACT-CIS won three congressional slots in the 2019 elections.

Tulfo’s sister-in-law, Rep. Jocelyn Tulfo remains as the second nominee of ACT-CIS.

Rep. Tulfo is the wife of senatorial aspirant, TV and radio broadcaster, and online media personality Raffy Tulfo.

Their son Ralph is running for the second congressional district of Quezon City against Rep. Precious Hipolito Castelo.
