President Rodrigo Duterte flew to Cebu and Bohol on Sunday to assess the damages brought by Typhoon “Odette” in the provinces.
Video footage released by government channel RTVM showed Duterte distributing relief goods to affected families in Argao town, Cebu.
The Chief Executive also conducted an aerial inspection to assess the damage left by Odette.
In Inabanga town, Bohol, Duterte met with some of the typhoon victims.
Cebu and Bohol are among the provinces pummeled by Odette that caused massive flooding, affecting thousands of families and individuals, as well as damaging key infrastructures in the regions.
