The vote-rich province of Cavite will be the next campaign pitstop of this presidential duo.
Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. announced on Tuesday that the “dream tandem” of former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio will visit his home province on December 9.
The Cavite stopover will be made a day after the visit of the Marcos-Duterte tandem to Quezon City.
“Mga kapwa Caviteño, papasyal sa ating lalawigan ang Dream Tandem – BBM-Sara ngayong Huwebes, December 9,” Revilla wrote on Instagram.
Revilla, an avid supporter of the Marcos-Duterte duo in the 2022 elections, urged his fellow Caviteños to welcome the team this week.
“Magsisimula ang Cavite Caravan ng Uniteam sa Bacoor patungong Kawit, Noveleta, at Rosario. Salubungin natin at ipakita ang ating suporta kina Mayor Inday Sara Duterte at Bong Bong Marcos!” he said.
Revilla earlier stepped down as chairman of Lakas-CMD party, offering the post to the President’s daughter. Mayor Sara is seeking the vice presidency under Lakas, a political group affiliated with former President Gloria Arroyo.
