Malacañang urged local government units (LGUs) to conduct house-to-house visits to encourage the hesitant to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
“Iyong paghihikayat at pag-house-to-house, iyon po ‘yung mga best practices na nakikita natin sa mga LGUs na mataas po iyong bilang ng mga nabakunahan nila,” acting presidential spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles told DZBB Saturday.
Nograles acknowledged that some LGUs conduct home visits to increase their vaccination rates.
“So yong sa mga LGUs, yes, several or many of the LGUs ay gumagawa po ng mga house-to-house,” according to him.
“Kung lahat po ng LGUs ay magkaroon ng ganyang klaseng initiative especially para sa mga senior citizens natin at iyong mga—those with comorbidities, mas maganda po iyan, mas maigi,” he added.
