Edu Manzano ‘very proud’ of son Enzo after solo anti-Duterte protest in New York City

Lorenzo Eduardo “Enzo” Manzano is a source of pride and inspiration for his dad Edu Manzano.

Manzano, former San Juan congressional bet, has rallied behind his son Enzo following his solo protest action against the Duterte administration in the United States.

Enzo earlier protested outside the United Nations headquarters in New York City, holding a placard deploring the Duterte administration for “taking away my people’s basic rights.” He held a similar protest outside the Philippine consulate in New York.

Former Quezon Rep. Erin Tañada backed Enzo’s protest, telling the elder Manzano must be proud of his son.

Manzano tweeted: “Very proud Atty!”

He also commented that children should be allowed to go “full steam ahead” if they are on the right path.

“We mustn’t allow our kids to hesitate in life. Kapag nasa tama dapat full steam ahead,” he tweeted.

When another netizen thanked Manzano for raising his son well, the veteran actor replied: “Maraming salamat. I have many others to thank too.”

After another netizen noticed that Enzo looks more handsome than his father, Edu agreed with the observation. “Tama ka naman. Totoo ang sinabi mo! 😃😃,” he tweeted.
