Singapore is “lucky” to have Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong as its leader.
According to Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr., the Prime Minister has shown his intellect and compassion while dealing with the coronavirus crisis in his country.
In a televised address to the nation, Lee said the next few years will be disruptive and difficult “for all of us.” Despite the health and economic challenges, Lee said people should “not fear” and “not lose heart.”
In his latest post on Twitter, Locsin commended Lee for his handling of the crisis. With Lee’s warning of difficult times ahead, Locsin said he fears for the Philippines, which recorded more than 21,000 cases and 1,003 deaths.
“Realism with a highly intelligent and commensurately compassionate face. Lucky Singapore. I fear for our country,” Locsin tweeted.
