Lacierda to Roque: Offer TikTok dances than criticize Robredo

It did not take long for allies of Vice President Leni Robredo to hit back at MalacaƱang following its recent rebuke towards her.

Former Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda came to the defense of Robredo, telling Presidential spokesman Harry Roque to stick to TikTok dances instead of criticizing the Vice President.

Roque earlier said he wished Robredo could offer solutions following her criticisms about the government’s poorly coordinated assistance for persons stranded in Metro Manila. Roque’s comments were aired on ANC’s Headstart program hosted by Karen Davila.

“Roque should just offer TikTok dances rather than criticize @lenirobredo who has done a rotundful of work for our countrymen,” Lacierda tweeted on Thursday June 18.

Lacierda, who served as spokesman of then President Benigno Aquino III, also said Robredo

“And more importantly, she never blames reporters because she never utters soundbites just to sound omnisciently hollow,” he said.

Former Otso Diretso senatorial bet Samira Gutoc told Roque not to wait for Robredo to fix the problematic government.

“Mars, wag mo hintaying malaman ni VP Leni na kayo ang tunay na problema. Baka kayo mismo, solusyunan niya rin. Biro lang Mars! Peace,” she tweeted.

Artist Agot Isidro also grabbed the chance to take a jab at the Palace for pursuing the passage of the anti-terrorism bill.

“Palace should offer solutions, rather than pass the Anti-terror bill that will silence their critics – concerned Filipino,” she tweeted.

The Professional Heckler also told Roque to “resign and vanish.”

“Harry Roque should resign and vanish. That’s one solution,” @hecklerforever8 tweets.
