Malacañang on Tuesday said it understands the sentiments expressed by 43 percent of Filipinos who expect their lives to worsen in the next 12 months.
A survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS) also showed that 24 percent of the 4,010 respondents expected their quality of life to stay that same, and 24 percent expecting it to improve.
“Iyan naman ay kasagsagan pa rin ng quarantine natin at syempre alam naman natin na dahil nagsara ang ekonomiya,” according to Presidentila Spokesperson Harry Roque said.
“Talagang mahihirapan ang buong mundo, hindi lamang ang Pilipinas dahil kinakailangan lahat tayo ay bumangon at hindi madali ang proseso ng pagbangon. Naiintindihan po natin yan,” he said during his virtual presser.
The SWS poll was conducted from May 4 to 10.
