Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla is trying to move on from his conflict with veteran broadcaster Ben Tulfo on the issue of rape.
Remulla, in a Facebook post, asked his followers to leave ‘Mr. Ben” alone and not to waste time on him.
“Lubayan na ninyo si Mr. Ben. Alam naman natin kung sino ang tama. Sayang lang ang oras natin sa kanya. Ako ay pang-romansa lang talaga,” he said.
Remulla also defended his strong stance against rape, saying his main concern is the protection of the people. “I have no ego to protect. I only care to protect the people,” he said in a photo card posted on Facebook.
Remulla earlier posted a message addressed to “Mr. Ben” that “Rape is not an act of sex. It is an act of violence. #HijaAko.”
Tulfo took to Facebook to respond to Remulla’s remarks, telling the governor to focus on attending to the affairs of Cavite instead of meddling in other issues. Tulfo said he and his BITAG team have actually assisted victims of rape and other crimes related to illegal drugs.
Kabisado ko estilo mo, ‘di yan uubra sa akin,” he said.

Hija @kakiep83 , a rapist or a juvenile sex offender's desire to commit a crime will always be there. All they need is an opportunity, when to commit the crime. Sexy ladies, careful with the way you dress up! You are inviting the beast.
