Talaga lang ha? Phase 2 of public transport reopening to bring relief to Metro Manila commuters – Palace

By Prince Golez

Malacañang is optimistic that the second phase of reopening public transport on Monday will provide commuters much-needed relief.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque in a virtual presser Saturday said the resumption of public transportation systems will allow “no less than” 3,600 buses and 1,500 other transport vehicles to operate in Metro Manila.

The capital region is still under general community quarantine amid the threat of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

The Palace official also reminded the public to continuously observe social distancing as there’s no vaccine yet for the virus.
