Wala pa sa lamesa si Duterte! Palace: OES still studying anti-terror law

By Prince Golez

The controversial new anti-terrorism bill has not yet reached President Rodrigo Duterte’s desk, his spokesman said Tuesday.

In a virtual presser, Palace Spokesman Harry Roque said the Office of the Executive Secretary is still reviewing the measure that penalizes with 12 years imprisonment those who will propose, incite, conspire, participate in the planning, training, preparation, and facilitation of a terrorist act.

Congress transmitted the final copy of the bill to Malacañang on June 9.
