Basketball and football teams can return to practice despite the ongoing health crisis brought by coronavirus disease.
On Friday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced that the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases has adopted the guidelines on the conduct of health-enhancing physical activities and sports during the coronavirus disease pandemic.
“Pinayagan yung practice at conditioning ng basketball at saka ng football sang-ayon sa request ng PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) at ng ibang football association,” he said during the Laging Handa public briefing.
Meanwhile, Roque also said religious centers will be allowed to fill 10 percent of their capacity under general community quarantine.
