Malacañang slammed critics who claimed that President Rodrigo Duterte failed to present a concrete roadmap for recovery from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA).
“Siguro bingi sila,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in an online press briefing Tuesday.
Roque rejected assertions that Duterte only engaged in his usual tirades in his yesterday’s SONA.
“Nandiyan yung Tax Reform Act, nandiyan yung part 2 ng Bayanihan We Heal As One Act, at nandiyan yung stimulus package,” according to him.
He added that the President also thanked those who helped the government respond to the health crisis.
“Nandiyan din ang pasalamat ng Presidente sa IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases), sa ating frontliners at lahat ng nagbibigay ng pagkain sa siyudad habang meron tayong Covid-19,” Roque said.
