House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez and his wife, Tingog party-list Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, expressed their condolences to the family of Camarines Sur Rep. Marissa Andaya, who died of cancer on Sunday.
“We extend our condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family of our dear colleague, Camarines Sur Rep. Marissa Mercado Andaya,” the Romualdezes said in a statement.
“We wish that the outpouring of love and support will somehow bring consolation, strength and peace to former House Majority Leader Nonoy Andaya and his family during this painful time,” they said.
“We know that no words can comfort her family in this sorrowful moment. She will be included in our prayers and may God give her eternal rest,” they added.
Andaya died after a second bout with cancer, according to her husband, former Camarines Sur Rep. Rolando Andaya Jr.
