‘Tao lang po’: Harry Roque sorry for swimming with Subic dolphins but insists he didn’t violate quarantine rules

By Prince Golez

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Thursday denied that he violated quarantine protocols in his recent visit to Ocean Adventure in Subic Bay.

Roque, however, apologized to those offended by his “side trip” to the popular tourist attraction.

“Even under (General Community Quarantine), ang swimming naman ay allowed because it is a non-contact sport.

In now-deleted photos shared by the park, Roque donned his swimsuit and swam with the dolphins. The secretary was also seen having a conversation with two people without a face mask on.

“It was not a trip intended for leisure. It was a side trip.
