The House of Representatives on Wednesday reported two new cases of the new coronavirus, bringing to 54 the total of Covid-19-positive personnel in the chamber.
House Secretary General Jose Luis Montales issued an advisory stating that: “We have two (2) new confirmed cases. They are siblings and live in the same house.”
“The first is from Human Resources Management Service. She last reported for work on July 29,” he said.
“The second is from the Engineering Department. He reported for work on August 14 and 17. He started showing symptoms on Aug. 17,” Montales said.
Contact tracing is ongoing for anyone who might have had close contact with the two employees, he added.
