The enterprising aide (EA) of a haughty politiko has found a way to make money from aspiring members of major political party (MP).
Politiko learned that EA, who has been promoted to party executive, is charging applicants to MP a membership fee.
A considerable amount is asked from the politikos, and there’s no explanation as to where the money will be used. Pay up or get out.
MP’s founder (MF) must be turning in his grave at EA’s antics. When MF was still alive, aspiring party members only need to attend a seminar or two to learn about the party’s beliefs.
EA probably feels he has also become more powerful now that MP is considered one of the most formidable countries in the country. But he doesn’t have really a lot of accomplishments to boast of, other than close ties to his boss.
