The status of President Rodrigo Duterte’s health is “fine,” his spokesman said in a virtual presser Monday.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque issued the remark clarifying reports that Duterte went to Singapore during the weekend for medical treatment.
“Nilinaw ko sa isang statement na fake news yung pag-alis ng Pilipinas ng ating Presidente,” according to Roque.
“Nanatili siya sa Davao. Hindi siya umaalis ng Pilipinas and his health is fine,” he also said.
On Sunday, the spokesman said Duterte is in the Philippines and “closely” monitoring developments in the coronavirus disease pandemic.
