House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez is wishing the speedy recovery of Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. from the coronavirus illness.
Revilla is currently confined at a hospital to get treatment after developing pneumonia, according to his wife Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla. The senator announced on August 9 that he tested positive for the virus.
“Get well soon Sen. Bong Revilla. Your fast and full recovery will be in our prayers,” Romualdez said in an Instagram post.
“Nawa’y bigyan ka ng sapat na lakas ng panginoon upang malagpasan ang hamon ng COVID19 at maipagpatuloy mo ang pagsisilbi sa bayan,” the lawmaker said.
Revilla, in a recent Facebook post, has asked for prayers during his hospital stay. Revilla is the fourth senator to get infected with the coronavirus, after Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri, Koko Pimentel, and Sonny Angara.
