Marikina residents have a chance to learn web design and development for free.
Marikina 2nd District Rep. Stella Quimbo has teamed up with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to provide free training courses on web development and creative web design for her constituents.
In a Facebook post by Quimbo, the computer training courses will be conducted online. A training allowance will likewise be provided for beneficiaries.
Given the limited slots, interested applicants are urged to immediately make their reservation.
“Maging web developer at web designer na parehong magandang trabaho sa ilalim ng better normal at magkaroon ng career sa technology industry!” Quimbo’s post read.
“Mag-apply sa free training courses na hatid ni Teacher Stella at ng TESDA para sa mga residente ng Marikina City Second District. I-click ang link at mag-register: https://bit.ly/2G78pAu,” it read.
Applicants must be residents of Marikina District, have completed 10 years of basic education, must be 18 years old and above. They must also have basic computer skills and can communicate either oral or written.
