Task Force PhilHealth is set to hold another hearing this Monday (Sept. 7) as part of its ongoing investigation into corruption allegations at the government corporation, said Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete.
“One witness has confirmed to testify on Monday,” he said.
“We already heard twelve witnesses so far,” he added.
Among those who testified included former and current officials of the PhilHealth.
Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra former the task force upon the order of President Rodrigo Duterte to have the government corporation investigated for corrupt activities.
Guevarra said the task force was given until Sept. 14 to submit to Duterte its report on the investigation conducted.
