The white sand project of Manila Bay can help protect the people’s mental health during the coronavirus disease pandemic, according to Malacañang.
In an interview yesterday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said he does not buy the argument that funds for the rehabilitation of the Manila Bay could have been used for the nationwide coronavirus response.
“I don’t buy that argument.
Yung kapayapaan ng pag-iisip at yung break from yung dangers ng pandemic,” he added.
Earlier, Roque clarified that “crushed dolomite boulders” and not “white sand” will be used to fill the stretch of the Manila Bay baywalk.
