The NBA wager between Senator Sonny Angara and son Manolo is still on.
This time, Manolo had to complete 50 push-ups after his team Miami Heat lost to his dad’s Boston Celtics. The father and son earlier offered to do the muscle exercise whenever their respective teams lose.
When the Boston Celtics scored victory over Miami Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference finals, Angara was snickering since he finally won this week’s bet. The senator earlier did two sets of 50 push-ups wearing a Heat jersey when his favorite team lost to the Heat in Games 1 and 2.
“Payback and pushup time for this fake Miami Heat fan. Pero in fairness mas maganda ang push up form ng anak ko. Go celtics! ☘️☘️☘️” Angara wrote on Instagram.
In the video taken by Angara, Manolo wore a Celtics jersey while struggling to complete 50 push-ups. The Angara teen had to take a break a few times to catch his breath while the senator counted and laughed hysterically.
“Your muscles are aching,” he teased Manolo while laughing hard now that the tables have turned.
