Malacañang announced that the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has approved the resumption of the motorcycle taxi pilot study.
The pilot run for the motorcycle taxi would be implemented and monitored by the National Task Force Against Covid-19 and the Department of Transportation, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said Friday.
“Pinayagan na rin ang pagpapatupad ng motorcycle taxi pilot study pagkatapos payagan ng Kamara de Representantes na i-extend ang motorcycle taxi pilot study program,” Roque said in an interview over state-run PTV-4,
“So, mabuting balita po yan kasi pupuwede naman tayong mag Angkas o mag Joyride.”
The Palace official noted that the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board will release the guidelines on the continued pilot test for motorcycle taxis.
