Palace urges IBC-13 workers union to file complaints before OP

By Prince Golez

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Tuesday asked the employees union of state-run IBC-13 to file official complaints about their grievances before the Office of the President.

IBC-13 employees earlier alleged network mismanagement and unpaid benefits to workers.

They also called on President Rodrigo Duterte to stop the corruption in the agency.

“Kung ang union ay gusto mag-imbestiga ang Office of the President, lumiham kayo ng diretso at makakarating naman ang liham ninyo sa Presidential Management Staff,” Roque said in his virtual presser.

On claims that Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar made no action on their allegations despite repeated meetings and letters, the Palace official said: “Kung hindi kayo satisfied sa naging response ng PCOO, sumulat po kayo sa tanggapan ng Presidente at ipaparating ko yan kay Undersecretary [Jesus Melchor] Quitain.”

IBC-13 operates under the control and supervision of the PCOO.
