Remulla defends MacoyDubs from bashers: Being kind does not cost a thing

Choose kindness online.

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla has appealed for a halt to the vile and hateful posts against internet star Mark Averilla also known as Macoy Dubs.

In his latest Facebook post, Remulla asked people to cut Averilla, a content creator, a break , reminding everyone to be kind on social media.

“It is my sincere hope that people would stop bashing him,” the governor wrote on his social media page.

He urged people to be “generous with kindness” especially since they don’t know what the situation others are enduring.

“Each and every one of us have our own trials and tribulations to take care of. Being kind in times of trouble does not cost a thing. Let’s be generous with kindness and try to make the world a better place for all,” he said.

Remulla came to the defense of Macoy Dubs after denying speculations he was supposedly his ghost writer. The politiko explained that he writes his own posts online and at times asks his wife for advice on “matters of science” during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Wala akong isyu with Macoy Dubs. Sadly, we have never met much less hired him to write nor create content,” he said.
