5th senator to get virus: Bato Dela Rosa tests positive for COVID-19

Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa has tested positive for COVID-19, he announced in a Facebook post Saturday (November 21).

“I am sorry to inform u that I tested positive for covid19 yesterday. To all who made contact with me pls do the approp protocols,” Dela Rosa said.

The former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief is the fifth senator to contract the virus this year. Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri, Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, Sonny Angara and Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. also tested positive for COVID-19 but have since recovered.

Dela Rosa did not mention in his Facebook post if he was feeling any symptoms.
