Palace congratulates Physician board exam passers, Robredo daughter

MalacaƱang on Thursday congratulated the passers of the Physician board licensure exams, including the daughter of Vice President Leni Robredo.

“Congratulations sa lahat ng bagong duktor. Congratulations sa anak ni VP Robredo. Sana ang mga anak ko rin eh mag-graduate din at maging duktor din,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a televised briefing.

Jomel Garcia Lapides, a graduate of the University of the Philippines Manila, topped this year’s medical doctor’s licensure exam with a score of 88.67 percent.

Other successful examinees who garnered the 10 highest places in the November 2020 Physician Licensure Examination were Patrick Joseph Mabugat and Adrian Emmanuel Teves (2nd, 88.58 percent); Henrick Ryan Fong and Raphael Cecilio Rodolfo (3rd, 88.33 percent); Rafael Emmanuel Mendoza (4th, 88.17 percent); Hannah Chito, Chino Paolo Samson, and Tiffanu Grace Uy (5th, 88.08 percent); Florence Marie Maramba (6th, 88 percent); Czarina Angelli Anastacio and Ernest paul Calasanz (7th, 87.92 percent); Jem Marie Golbin and Eric David Ornos (8th, 87.75 percent); Louie Lorenzo Alcantara and Mark Dumago (9th, 87.67 percent); and John Raphael Almanza, Christian John Capirig, Markyn Kho, and Chelsea Colleen Paris (10th, 87.58 percent).

“Sa panahon ng pandemiya, kayo po ang mga bagong bayani. Inaasahan natin na dadagsa po ang magbibigay ng tulong medikal sa ating bayan habang wala pang solusyon sa pandemiya,” said Roque.

“Congratulations to the new doctors and congratulations to their proud parents,” he concluded.
