Instead of reading from a list, President Rodrigo Duterte might want to look lawmakers straight in the eye and ask them if they committed corruption the next time around.
The suggestion came from Sen. Panfilo Lacson on Wednesday, a day after the solons named by Duterte all raised a howl to deny involvement in corruption.
“Next time, perhaps the president should ask a simple question while looking them straight in the eyes: Cong, may ‘komisyon’ ka ba o wala?” Lacson said in a post on his Twitter account.

Duterte, in his televised address Monday night, read a list of lawmakers linked to corruption, based on a list from the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission.
But before reading the list, he said there is still no hard evidence and that there is a presumption of innocence.
Those in the list included:
* Rep. Josephine Sato, for alleged ghost projects;
* former Rep. Teddy Baguilat Jr., for alleged kickbacks
* Rep. Alfred Vargas
* Rep. Henry Oaminal
* Rep. Alyssa Sheena Tan
* Rep. Paul Daza
* Rep Eric Yap
* Rep. Angelina Tan
* Rep. Geraldine Roman
The solons mentioned all denied involvement in corruption, even as Duterte said he will have the district engineers involved reshuffled.
