Bravo for calling bullsh*t! Kris Aquino lauds Locsin, hits Duque over missed COVID-19 vaccine deal with Pfizer

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro “Teddyboy” Locsin Jr. has found an ally in Kris Aquino after revealing that a Cabinet Secretary “dropped the ball” in the government’s negotiations to secure Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Aquino took to Twitter to praise Locsin after the Foreign Affairs Secretary vowed to go after anyone who messes up again with the government’s talks with the American pharmaceutical company.

“Opo at putangina silang naglalaro sa buhay ng Pilipino. Yayariin ko sila,” Locsin tweeted.

Aquino responded: “I am only on Twitter because of you… not that my mom will approve of your language but BRAVO for having the guts to say it like it is.”

The Queen of All Media said her late mother, former President Corazon Aquino, acknowledged that she and Locsin were both “brats.”

Locsin worked as the late former President’s speechwriter.

“Mom used to say we had a ‘mutual admiration society’ because we’re both brats- i’ll take a no bullsh*t, intelligent, good looking BRAT over… (Cont) a secretary who doesn’t seem to show any compassion for the lives of more than 100 million Filipinos he is tasked to safeguard the HEALTH of,” Aquino said, taking a swipe at Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.

Senator Panfilo Lacson earlier said Duque’s delay in signing the confidentiality disclosure agreement with Pfizer caused the Philippines to miss out on the shipment of 10 million COVID-19 vaccines due to arrive in January 2021.

Locsin said he has gotten in touch with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to help the Philippines secure COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer as soon as possible.
