President Rodrigo Duterte wants all Filipinos to be safe and healthy after the holiday season, his spokesman said.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Tuesday warned against complacency to minimize the risk of transmission of coronavirus disease during the holiday season
Roque also reminded everyone to strictly follow health and safety protocols to keep themselves and their families safe from the virus.
“Mga kababayan, ngayong panahon ng pagdiriwang, ang nais po ng Presidente eh lahat tayo ay buhay at malusog matapos ang ating mga pagdiriwang,” he added.
As of Tuesday, the Philippines has recorded a total of 462,815 Covid-19 cases, with 429,417 recoveries and 9,021 casualties.
