President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed three new justices to the Court of Appeals (CA).
Duterte named Anisah B. Amanodin-Umpa, Bautista Gler Corpin Jr., and Roberto Patdu Quiroz as new magistrates of the appellate court, the Supreme Court announced Tuesday.
They would fill the vacancy left by Associate Justice Henri Jean Paul Inting, Associate Justice Carmelita Manahan, and the late retired Associate Justice Normandie Pizarro.
Inting was appointed to the Supreme Court in May 2019 while Manahan retired in March last year.
