Former San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez is finally coming home after surviving the new coronavirus disease.
The good news about the former mayor’s health condition was shared by her son, former Senator JV Ejercito, in his latest Instagram post.
Ejercito is grateful for his mom’s recovery. He said his mom surviving the coronavirus is one of the best holiday presents he got this year.
“It may not be the usual best time of the year, nor the best of the birthday celebrations, but one of the best gifts was given to me today because it was an answered prayer,” Ejercito wrote on Instagram.
Ejercito thanked the people who offered prayers and support for his mom.
“My mother is finally going home today and has survived COVID. Thank you Lord! & Thank you everyone who sent prayers!” he said.
