The “research firm” that had its “findings” on presidentiables for 2022 published in major mainstream media outlets over the weekend is owned by someone connected to one of the supposed presidentiables.
Blueprint.ph CEO Rosini “Eero” Brillantes, who spoke for his firm in media, is the husband of Geraldine Torres-Brillantes, an ex-staff of ex-Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano.
Rosini bragged in a Facebook post late Saturday that an article on “my company” was featured in the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Cayetano was ousted as House Speaker last October following his refusal to abide by a power-sharing agreement to have Lord Allan Velasco succeed him.
The ex-Speaker is one of the 16 candidates that, according to the firm, is being eyed by Filipinos to run as president for 2022, based on “sentiment analysis” on Facebook.
A check of Blueprint.PH’s website suggested it, with the imprimatur of Cayetano himself – was behind the “Constitutional Reform” campaign.

The company also claimed to be behind the publication “Campaign Management for Politics and Social Change,” with Brillantes’ wife in the cover photo.

“Let’s turn your plan intro (sic) reality,” the company said on its “Contact” page.
