Palace agrees ‘common’ coronavirus policy but…

By Prince Golez

Malacañang is in favor of having one policy for health protocols to help restart the tourism and aviation industries in the country.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, however, said the law allows autonomy for local government units (LGUs).

But, the Palace official expressed support for a “common” policy responses to the coronavirus pandemic, similar to what local chief executives in Metro Manila have been doing.

We are in favor pero working with the existing legal framework,” he also said.
