A Thai news website used a GIF of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque to remind the public to take coronavirus (Covid-19) safety measures seriously.
On Twitter, Thai Enquirer urged its audience to wash hands, wear face masks and practice physical distancing.
The reminder was accompanied by a GIF of the Palace spokesman during one of his virtual pressers in Malacañang.
In a statement to reporters Sunday, Roque said the use of his GIF “underscores how effective our message is – which we articulate in every press briefing and which we prominently display on the podium — in conveying that we must adhere to such health standards aimed at saving lives and protecting the communities.”
He likewise underscored the need for everyone to strictly observe health protocols to prevent a further spread of the disease during the holiday season.
