The government’s coronavirus task force has allowed the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to proceed with the scheduled licensure examinations from January to March.
“The request of the PRC to conduct and administer the licensure examinations for professionals scheduled for January to March 2021 was approved,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a statement Friday.
The latest decision of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases was contained in Resolution 95 approved on Thursday.
According to the official website of the PRC, licensure examinations for medical technologists, sanitary engineers, and architects are scheduled for January 21 and 22; 25, 26 and 27; and 29 and 31, respectively.
Licensure exams for veterinarians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, real estate consultants, geologists, master plumbers, psychologists, mechanical engineers and certified plant mechanicals are set next month.
In March, the PRC will hold licensure exams for foreign medical professionals, physicians, respiratory therapists, medical technologists, optometrists, ocular pharmacologists, and professional teachers.
