United States Vice President Kamala Harris is often regarded as role model for women. But if the new American veep ever needs a role model, she can look up to Vice President Leni Robredo.
Former Solicitor General Florin Hilbay made the social media post about the two women leaders following the inauguration of Harris.
“Kamala Harris has a very good role model for a female vice president in a time of crisis: Leni Robredo,” Hilbay tweeted. “Kamala’s advantage: a sane, decent, progressive president,” he added.
Harris, a senator, was sworn in as the first woman Vice President in the United States. She also made history when he became the first Black woman and person of South Asian descent to hold the second highest post in the US.
Robredo is the country’s second female vice president after Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
