Malacañang expressed support for the Department of Health’s (DOH) plan to allow pharmacists and midwives as vaccinators for coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines.
In a virtual presser, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque also suggested that nursing students and dental students be allowed to administer the vaccines.
During a town hall meeting with the Philippine Nurses Association to advocate vaccination on Saturday, the DOH said that only doctors and nurses are allowed to administer the vaccine.
