Palace to Pinoys: Trust vaccine experts

By Prince Golez

MalacaƱang urged Filipinos to trust medical experts after a survey showed that nearly half in the country do not intend to get vaccinated against coronavirus.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a televised briefing recently.

Roque also encouraged the public to listen to vaccine experts, not “self-proclaimed” experts on from listening to “self-proclaimed experts” on the safety and effectiveness Covid-19 vaccines.

Starting February, the Philippines will start vaccinating its population against Covid-19 with doses from China’s Sinovac Biotech. The said vaccine has a general efficacy of less than 60 percent in its late-stage trial in Brazil.
