Communications Secretary Martin Andanar offered prayers for the speedy recovery of Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary Michael Lloyd Dino who recently tested positive for the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
“We extend our prayers of speedy recovery and good health to Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary Michael Lloyd Diño after he recently contracted Covid-19,” Andanar said in a briefing statement.
The secretary wished Dino a quick recovery so he could “continue fulfilling his duties and in assisting the President and the whole Duterte administration in the fight against and recovery from the pandemic in the Visayas region.”
On February 14, Dino, who reportedly had mild symptoms, underwent swab test after his driver’s test yielded a positive result.
“I am urging those who have come in close contact with me recently to have themselves tested for probable infection with Covid-19,” Dino said in a statement.
