President Rodrigo Duterte will attend the inauguration of the transport infrastructure projects – the Dumaguete-Sibulan Airport and the Port Operations Building – in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental this afternoon, Malacañang said Thursday.
In his virtual presser, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said the newly-developed airport can now accommodate heavier aircraft.
“Tataas rin ang terminal capacity ng airport na mula 330 na pasahero ay magiging 450 passengers,” according to him.
Meanwhile, Roque said the construction of two-story Port Operations Building will be able to accommodate around 500 passengers.
“Kahit may pandemiya, tuloy-tuloy po ang ating Build, Build, Build,” he said referring to the government’s massive infrastructure projects.
