President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday night offered Vice President Leni Robredo money to buy coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines overseas.
In a recorded speech, Duterte launched fresh tirades against Robredo after the latter called for further assessment of China’s Sinovac vaccine before administering shots on health workers.
Duterte reiterated that Covid-19 vaccine stocks have run out because drug companies prioritize providing doses for their countries of origin.
Not only the Philippines, as stated by earlier, binigyan tayo ng worldwide situation ng vaccine. Hirap rin sila. Ang Amerika mayroon pero inuuna nila. Ito alam mo unahan ito. Ako muna bago kayo kasi amin ito,” he explained.
