President Rodrigo Duterte wants the public to trust the government in its response to the coronavirus pandemic.
In his televised address late Monday, Duterte assured Filipinos that vaccines are carefully evaluated before they are deemed safe.
Pinapag-aralan muna at bago gagamitin,” according to him.
Prior to this, the Chief Executive lambasted Vice President Leni Robredo after she called for the Health Technology Assessment Council to review the donated Sinovac vaccines from the Chinese government.
Robredo should “maybe shut up” about the China-made vaccine if she has nothing good to say, according to Duterte.
Ikaw, Ma’am, ang magbasa and take notes of the important or salient points of the law. Otherwise, I said, a misplaced comma could change the meaning of everything,” he added.
