Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla has settled his misunderstanding with Manila Mayor Isko Moreno over the absence of cash aid for Manila residents who were relocated to Naic.
“Guys tigil na. Wala kaming away ni Yorme. Peace na kami so let’s move on. Have a good weekend and SHOUTOUT sa lahat ng ARMY … I Purple You,” Remulla tweeted Friday (April 24).
The governor slammed Moreno earlier in the day after the mayor criticized the failure of Naic’s local government to give financial assistance to Manila residents who are now living in the town.
Remulla called Moreno boastful and a show off. He also accused the mayor of aiming to become president.
“Sana, pag-aralan mo muna ang suliranin bago ka magpuputak ng walang kwenta. Kung pagpapasikat lang ang gusto mo? Hindi mo kailangan mang-apak ng Caviteño,” Remulla said in a Facebook post.
